The economic downturn has all of the richest people in the world, take to the poorest of the poor. For hardcore travelers, making it available on the road a challenge. Do not worry. It 's still a large part of the planet, you can explore on a tight budget.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to the south-east Asia. This is the land where men were men [and sometimes women] and the baht is cheap! From China to Thailand to Cambodia to Laos, the cost of the trip throughExotic Southeast Asia is pretty cheap, even in these markets.

Our low-cost travel story begins at the end of 1990. For economic reasons beyond my comprehension frail, broke the currencies of many countries in Southeast Asia. When I say broke, I mean a massive decline. Foreign and local investors bankruptcy left and right. The remains are still there to see – half-finished buildings on beautiful beaches, hotels, and so on are barred.

While the world has seen aEconomic celebration of love with most of the first half of this decade, South-east Asia was recovering slowly, but has not come back strong. Anyone who has traveled in the past eight years we can say how things were cheap. Regardless, prices are now again under attack as tourism dried up with the economic chaos in the West.

How are things cheap? I recently spent several months in Thailand and Cambodia. I spent $ 3,200 including air. Now this may seem like much, but it was not. Ilived like a king. I stayed in the hotel suite and ate like an evil warlord. Every time I tried to be prudent in my spending. What do I have? $ 5 to $ massaged for 10 hours. A nice apartment with living room and kitchen for $ 20 per night. A dinner of Thai food as a basis Pad Thai with fruit drink for 3 €. A flight to Thailand from Bangkok to Chiang Mai in the north of the country for $ 65. Cambodia was also cheaper to fly.

As you can see thatCost of just hanging out was really cheap. With a little effort at all, you can cut what I went in the goal 'field. If you are itching to have made the city a bit, 'Southeast Asia is pretty hard to beat as a destination. You get a great price with a high value in developing countries, again with the beauty in abundance.
